Furniture|Today’s exclusive Furniture Store Performance Report looks at operations in the industry’s largest channel of distribution, providing standards to judge profitability, merchandise mix and price-point structure, sourcing, employment and advertising practices.
Based on store operations for the fiscal year ending closest to December 31, 2005, this year’s report takes an especially close look at the sales floor, paying particular attention to price-point structure and best-selling price points.
Using these industry norms, retailers can uncover any weaknesses in their operations and build on strengths to improve their bottom line.
