Casual Living's exclusive Consumer BuyingTrends Survey is based on responses from 1,135 households to a survey conducted in August and September 2005. Casual Living had New York based TNS poll 4,500 U.S. households via an online survey to examine home furnishings shopping and purchasing patterns for the 12 months, September 2004 through August 2005.
Because of the sample size and a respondent profile closely matching the demographics of all U.S. households, survey data can be projected nationally with a margin of error of plus or minus less than 3%.
