Casual Living grill sales over the next five years are expected to increase nationally by 12.7%, going from $3.3 billion in 2008 to $3.7 billion in 2013, according to the most recent projections by the New York-based Easy Analytic Software Inc. (EASI). The report includes state-by-state estimates of 2008 grill sales and projections of 2013 sales. It also includes sales and projections for each of the four census regions and the fastest growing metros.
Casual Living market research worked with EASI to develop sales estimates and projections for Grills. Last year's sales estimates for each product category are based on data available through August 2008 and are subject to revision as additional data becomes available. Estimates are based on information from the Department of Commerce, the International Trade Commission, sales estimates from manufacturers and retailers, Casual Living and HGTV's Consumer Views Survey, Furniture Today's Consumer Buying Trends Surveys and Furniture Store Performance Report as well as discussions with industry executives and analysts.
